WEDDING!!!

April 23, 2014 ....  The big day!  Michael and I finally made it official and were married!  We kept it a secret from everyone, which was difficult.  Mike had a conference in Niagara Falls so I went with him.  We were married at this tiny little chapel, called the wayside wedding chapel.  It was cute and fun..... Not to cheesy .... :)     The hotel was great, view of the falls... Beautiful!  We had a wonderful dinner at the Watermark restaurant, then some casino fun!  All in all it was really nice, relaxing, fun, a little romantic....  We are very happy!  The kids stayed home with grandma.  I don't think Miles was thrilled.  He absolutely did not want us to swim in the pool, a little jealous maybe?  Lol.  I'm very proud of the kids.  This was our first trip away without them and they were very well behaved for grandma.  One more important event accomplished!  Yah us!  Lol

Day 14......

Yes, I missed a few days, but that's ok.  I'm doing this "what I'm grateful for today" for my benefit only so it's ok if a few days get missed.  Maybe some days I'll double up!  :)   Today I am grateful for my son..... Again.  In church today I spoke with a mom who over a period of 2 weeks in December, she watched her son go from an energetic little boy to a little boy who was dying.  It was heartbreaking listening to her talk about what they had gone through.  Thank God, Kier is on the mend and will hopefully be home soon.  It all started with a viral flu....... One day he was healthy, the next, he was not.  Could happen to any of us.  Miles has a pretty weak immune system and it's scaring how deadly the flu is becoming.  So, today I am very grateful that my son is healthy.  Starting a regime of vitamin c!!
