Christmas arrives early!!!!

So Christmas has arrived a bit early here and we are all so excited!   Renee has come from North Bay for a Christmas visit!  Renee will be spending Christmas in Florida with her dad this year, :(  I am sad about this but happy for her at the same time, she is going to have sooo much fun!  Her dad has quite the itinerary planned for the big visit.  Anyways, so Christmas has come a bit early to our little house, not for everyone though.  We had a nice Christmas evening with Renee, gave her all of her gifts, and she was so excited!  Santa brought her a new camcorder!  Now she will be able to get some great video of everything she does on her visit to Florida.  AND........Because my gift from the girls was from both of them, and Renee wanted to be here when I opened it, I got my gift early too!  The crazy kids bought me an Acer Aspire One Netbook computer!!!  I was, and still am, so excited!  It is GREAT!  I LOVE it!!!!  Renee heads home today.  I think Miles will be upset.  He has had so much fun playing with his big sister.  She is so good with him, even though she doesnt like playing with him, they still have fun together.  Wow, has he ever been bad since Renee got here.  She must bring out the best in him!  So thats it for now.  Im still trying to figure out this key board, in case you notice the lack of proper punctuation.......not sure what the deal is.  Ill post pics soon....kids and Christmas tree!  Maybe Ill even post a pic of Jazz!

December

So December is here and what a hectic month so far.  We were beginning to think that we would have another Christmas like the one when Miles was born, no snow.  But the snow has finally arrived.  It isn't really cold but just cold enough for the snow to hang around.  Mike was thinking that he and Miles could spend some time at grandpa's grave on Christmas eve, looks like they'll have to wear snow boots if they do!!  Work has been crazy busy, of course, but its ok.  We have a lot of fun at the store!

Christmas is going to be a bit strange this year.  Renee will be in Florida with her dad so we won't see her.  not very excited about that but I guess I'll survive.  She will be visiting us next week, then that will be it for a while.  Michelle will be here though!  And I think Alex will be around too (the boyfriend)!  And of course Grace and Miles, so we'll have a full house with a lot of noise and excitement I'm sure!  


Miles is growing up so fast.  I can hardly believe that he will be 3 in only a few short weeks.  And this year I am determined to have a proper party for him.  He is loving the snow.  Likes to be outside, it's fun!  We haven't really done much with him yet since the snow is really just arriving but I think it will be a fun winter, as long as it doesn't get too cold.  We are starting to think that it is time for Miles to graduate from a toddler bed to something a bit bigger.  He just doesn't sleep well in the little bed.  We will have to figure something out in January, mommy and daddy need a good night sleep more than once a month!

So did I mention that we have a new dog?  His name is Jazz.  He is a rescue dog, from Pet Save.  Part husky part dalmation.  Having a big dog in the house takes getting used to, to say the least.  We love him though!  Not sure about all the dog hair, or the having to walk him 4 or 5 times a day......... But he needed a home, and someone to love him, so .........

I think I'll try to post some pics of the Christmas Tree!  We had fun decorating this year.
